Healing is a word to describe my approach as a psychotherapist. Throughout my 26 years of experience, I believe that both our mind and our body need to be connected in order to achieve balance. Respect, acceptance, and appropriate humor are principles of my practice. I collaborate well with clients who are struggling with a variety of issues like anxiety, depression, and related life stressors. I have a strong background treating individuals with trauma history.
Psychotherapy with me will focus on creating solutions to resolve or alleviate difficult situations using evidence based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focus CBT, and Mindfulness in English and Spanish.
