Hi! My name is Bianke Gadsden, I am a licensed clinical social worker and dedicated clinician for the clients I serve. I have extensive experience treating clients in various settings and all walks of life. I specialize in depression, anxiety, and adjustment to stressors in life. I enjoy working with clients who are motivated by change but may have difficulty getting there. Using evidence-based best practices, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, I help my clients gain self-awareness, reduce negative symptoms and improve coping skills.
My treatment philosophy is to meet my clients where they are and use a strength-based approach for desired change. It is my job to care for the emotional, physical, and behavioral issues negatively impacting your mental health. I utilize Motivational Interviewing to create an environment that feels comfortable.
Goal setting is never complicated, it's actually pretty simple. Together we will explore the reasons you sought therapy and the desired change you hope to achieve. I typically recommend two goals. Decrease your negative symptoms and increase your coping skills.
