Unfortunately through various life events, we may lose sight of who we are or never learn who we are at all. When we don’t have an understanding of our own worth, it is difficult to find our inner strength and to understand what we deserve out of life and relationships. Due to feelings of unworthiness and/or low self-esteem, we may end up making decisions, choosing relationships, and reacting to life in ways that do not serve us well.
My integrative approach to counseling utilizes techniques from person-centered, DBT, CBT, EMDR, Gottman, and mindfulness. I specialize in working with individuals and couples who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, BPD, codependency, attachment, relationship conflicts, feelings of inadequacy, and self-esteem concerns.
By creating a safe, non-judgemental, open therapeutic relationship, my goal is to utilize your own strengths and values as a guide to establish the best ways to help you. My desire is that you are empowered, learn skills that will help you manage emotions, heal from trauma, challenge negative thought patterns, and have healthier relationships.
