The road to recovery from trauma can be arduous, but you don’t have to travel it alone. I specialize in treating individual adults with trauma of all kinds, big and small. At a pace that feels right for you, we'll address both the traumatic event and its impact on anxiety/depression, physical health, relationships and the ability to trust and feel safe again. Whether you’ve experienced physical, sexual, emotional, relational, racial or single incident trauma many years ago or in the recent past, we can begin to work through it.
I'm trained in EMDR, a rapid and effective method for processing traumatic memories. I utilize Internal Family Systems or “Parts Work” to help clients better understand and manage their internal worlds. I'm trained in body-centered therapies that help clients regulate their nervous systems and reconnect with their body’s innate wisdom and ability to heal.
Willingness to enter into dark places in order to find the light takes great courage. Walking alongside my clients through some of the most difficult experiences life can bring is an honor and a privilege that I do not take lightly.
