Painful problems are best resolved with patience and gentle humor. Different things work with different people. I introduce clients to multiple tools based on current research. Cognitive-behavioral therapies, including "DBT"; John Gottman's marital research, and most importantly, clarification of clients' own faith and values often provide foundation for resolving roadblocks.
There's no substitute for experience-- both yours and mine! Clients' strengths coupled with my 20 years of professional expertise can create rapid progress and satisfying solutions.
