I am a psychotherapist practicing in Oregon and Washington, and in Europe. I enjoy assisting people in the exploration of new ways to manage challenges that invariably arise in life. If you struggle with anxiety or depression, or if you are experiencing activation related to past traumatic events I can help you learn new ways of relating to yourself and to others.
I am well versed in practicing EMDR and supplement this with Emotional Freedom Technique. Both helpful to process emotions. I have experience working with college athletes and am athletically minded. Again with a focus on mind and body and how emotions affect our decisions. I utilize mindfulness practices to develop contentedness in relationships.
I have training in helping couples through challenging times and invite people who have entered into bi-cultural unions. I am fluent in English and Danish. I draw from Drs Gottman, Dr. Sue Johnson, Terry Real, LCSW and Esther Perel, LMFT in supporting your wish for improved connection and communication with your partner.
