I specialize in trauma and PTSD, using EMDR and IFS. I'm licensed in California, Tennessee, Oregon, and Colorado. I have helped clients improve self esteem, anxiety levels, depression, relational issues, phobias, lack of a sense of life direction, sleep, greater self awareness, anger issues, and more. Through teaching skills such as noticing and being with sensations, feelings, and thoughts, clients can access deeper parts of themselves. Clients get to the root of the issue, look at things in new ways, and heal the trauma that is stored in the body (by feeling it safety, with my guidance and training) rather than avoiding it.
I specialize in treating trauma and PTSD. I use EMDR and IFS, which are evidence-based therapies used to treat trauma and PTSD. Too, I have been practicing mindfulness for 27 years and I have completed many intensive mindfulness courses in Nepal, India, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and USA during the seven years I spent traveling abroad before becoming a therapist.
I tailor my therapy to meet the specific needs of my clients. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issue, I will help you recognize and learn about underlying problems, acquire coping skills to adjust certain behaviors and thoughts, and use evidence-based mindfulness techniques to improve your relationships and quality of life.
