Trauma turns your world on its head, not only through the event but the aftermath. Anger, grief, confusion- all of these responses may come out of children, teens, and even adults by lashing out, throwing tantrums, making impulsive decisions, losing focus, and withdrawing from friends and family. These big changes are hard to process and can cause not only your child but you and your family to struggle. You're tired of trauma stealing the family, the child, the life you had before. You need someone to walk with you through this, and I'd love to be that person.
I specialize in working with children, teens, and families with issues of trauma, abuse and neglect, adoption and foster care, and adjustment to life changes. In addition to individual therapy for ages 5 and up, I offer family therapy, parent coaching, workshops, and mental health assessments including CANS assessments.
