As of August 2024, I am accepting new clients! I work with individuals & relationships, specializing in family therapy, particularly between adult children and their loved ones. We aim to increase emotional security and improve communication skills - both in our relationships and in ourselves! Sometimes we get stuck, and thinking our way through it isn't working. Let's find compassion-based solutions to our problems and new ways to both accept our emotions AND think/behave in new ways that highlights hope for better!
My goal is to "work myself out of a job" - to help clients learn and use skills on their own and not depend on me! I help clients use curiosity and compassion to identify and move toward solutions to their problems. So much healing and growth happens in places of nonjudgmental exploration as we work toward our goals for what "better" can look like!
I truly believe people are doing the best they know how to do - sometimes that best is rooted in "out of date" information and stuck perspectives. That's where I come in.
