Hey! and Welcome. Just thinking about working on yourself is courageous, so you did it! You made it to the therapist search. People find themselves in my virtual therapy office when they have tried therapy before, have a great deal of emotional intelligence, yet it hasn’t gotten them to the root of their issue. Perhaps you still notice a loud inner critic, a pattern of people pleasing, a feel of not being enough, that keeps coming up suggesting deeper work. It is my joy and honor to be able to untangle, partner with and create strategies for peace in your nervous system and restore belief in your badass self .
We create a plan so you know what to expect (as much as possible) from therapy sessions. I utilize EMDR ( trauma reprocessing therapy), somatic integration to facilitate a mind body connection, DBT, parts work and dark humor sprinkled in :) I have a warm, yet direct, humanistic, collaborative therapy approach.
Besides a therapist I’m a mom of 2, a sister, partner, friend and have spent my fair share of time in the client seat in therapy as well. I know It isn’t always easy to start this journey.
