My approach is holistic; including person-centered, strength based, and solution focused. I also utilize CBT, a tried-and-true method; that focuses on identifying thoughts and feelings, learning how to regulate, which will result in behavioral change. Every session, you will be met with gentleness and kindness. You will work, but be supported the whole way.
The first of anything can be quite challenging and scary. However, I aim to help you feel supported and hopefully feel better after the very first session. We will work to build rapport and go at your pace. The first session will focus on telling your story and identifying your goals. We will then get to work, using your strengths to get you to your goals.
