I have a passion for working with people who want to live their best lives. Sometimes, taking the step to begin counseling can feel scary, but I truly enjoy coming alongside those who may feel a little apprehensive and helping them feel supported in this journey. Many of the people I have worked with have dealt with things like depression and anxiety, relationship struggles, or trauma.
As a therapist, I tend to have a whole person model, while also tailoring treatment to each individual's needs. Using techniques from EMDR, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, I believe clients are most successful when they are equipped with practical tools to use in their every day lives.
