Hi there, my name is Beth and I’m a therapist providing virtual services across New York state. I help people develop an integrated and joyful sense of self, specializing in trauma, gender/sexuality, dissociative disorders, anxiety, and depression. My goal in therapy is to help you build a healthy life that feels good, grounded, and free. My practice is both sexuality and gender-affirming with a belief that you are the expert in your own story. I approach therapy as a judgment-free collaboration, using compassion to examine the stressors in your life and curiosity to build connections between the past, present, and future.
I’m committed to holistically helping people of all gender identities and sexual orientations move through the world with self-acceptance and self-awareness while examining the influence of society and culture. My approach is anti-oppressive, person-focused, and IFS-informed, using EMDR, psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, and relational therapy.
I am genuine, welcoming, and warm, utilizing talk therapy, relationship building, humor, and mind-body work to help you courageously create a roadmap back to yourself and to your body. Outside of work, I love hiking with my dogs, listening to live music, visiting galleries, and rock climbing. I bake the (unofficial) best apple pie in New York City.
