I am passionate about helping clients understand their own stories, experience healing from past hurts or traumas, develop and maintain a healthy sense of self-worth, and live confidently in the present with hope for the future.
I am EMDR trained and a certified clinical trauma professional. My areas of expertise include trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, low self-esteem, parenting, spiritual confusion, stress and burnout. I offer therapy in both English and Portuguese. I offer the traditional 50 minute therapy sessions as well as week-long intensives.
Therapy works best when the client finds a counselor who can listen and give feedback in a compassionate, kind and nonjudgmental way. My goal is to provide a safe place for clients to experience healing from past hurts, encourage them to appreciate themselves for the unique individuals that they are, and inspire them to be optimistic about the future.
