Welcome to the first step of your healing journey. I am so glad you are here. I believe that the therapeutic power of relationship and connecting with each client authentically is foundational. My goal is to facilitate a dynamic partnership in which each client is an active participant in their own growth. Together we will explore personal strengths and key supports, determine goals, and evaluate progress along the way. I believe in an integrative approach to counseling, recognizing the complex interactions of mind, body, emotions, and soul. It is my desire that clients will gain insight, understanding, and experience healing.
I utilize a holistic approach where I consider the impact of relationships, thinking & behavior patterns, and family dynamics. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Collaborative Problem Solving, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Family Systems Therapy. I enjoy working with clients ages 5+ individually, as couples and families.
One of my favorite authors Anne Lamott writes, "I do not understand the mystery of grace - only that it meets us where we are but does not leave us where it found us." You are not alone. If you are seeking a therapist who will help you on your healing journey, take that brave first step to reach out. Grace is waiting for you.
