Originally hailing from Central Nevada, Bertrand is an avid UNR Wolf Pack fan and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Connected Therapy. Bertrand considers himself semi-retired. Over the past twenty years, he has been a teacher, clinician, program manager, clinic director, business owner, state worker and hospital worker. He has also been a field instructor for several schools of social work and nursing. He received his Graduate degree in Social Work (MSW) from University of Nevada Reno in 2008.
Bertrand provides individual counseling for adults and couples counseling. Bertrand isintensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT,) in addition he utilizes a variety of techniques and skills drawn from recognized therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT,) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT.)
