Our bodies and brains have natural systems for dealing with difficult and stressful life situations or events. EMDR is an approach to healing painful experiences recommended by the World Health Organization. I use EMDR to help people work through their most difficult memories and feelings. EMDR re-engages our brains' natural ability resolve these experiences, often quickly and without detailed descriptions of the event. Clients often express amazement by the results.
