Are you feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and exhausted? Admitting that life’s daily stressors have become overwhelming can be one of the hardest admissions we make to ourselves, but that admission is also the first step towards true change. Change can be a challenging path to navigate but I believe that everyone has a path, as winding and difficult as it may seem, that we all have to go through at some point. Whether those stressors are anxiety, depression, trauma or a general life transition, my goal is to provide a comforting and safe environment where we can identify the steps that need to be taken and walk that new path together.
I believe that everyone has their own unique experiences. The role of the counselor is the “co-pilot” to help chart a course to move forward when the course gets rocky. To reflect this individual approach, I incorporate a multitude of evidence based practices such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered.
Taking the first step and admitting something needs to change can be a scary decision but it should also be a point of pride. I am here to not only make sure that our sessions are as effective as possible but to also help you navigate the therapy process that can lead to a happier and healthier you.
