I empathize for today's teens & adults with depression, anxiety, substance use, & autism with the ever-changing world. We are faced with immediate decision-making & strain, which is not fair when we're trying to figure who we are, much less what they want to become in our adulthood. We typically feel lost, confused, misunderstood, or having challenges communicating to others their needs struggle and could benefit with supports in and outside our homes and schools. Also, as adults, we are not sure if we are being "the best parent." I want to help those with depression, anxiety, & ASD build connectivity within themselves and others.
I specialize with supporting those diagnosed with autism. I provide cognitive-behavior therapy, as well as dialectical-based intervention, behavioral coaching, trauma-focused intervention, and even basic transitional planning from high school. Also, and those identify with the LGBTQ+ community. I provide parent coaching, if adults feel they could benefit too
Counseling is both a helping relationship and a process of change. We will collaborate and identified problems in a collaborative manner. In each session, we will review previous sessions, progress towards goals, assess symptoms, and focus on immediate objectives. Together, we will find ways to assist you becoming a better person.
