I understand. Probably the most untrue thing anyone can say. I am not you, I have not lived your life, felt your feelings, or thought your thoughts. This means I can't fully understand what you have gone or are going through. What I can do is appreciate your struggle and help you navigate and sort through it all; to find why we think the way we think, feel the way we feel, and behave they way we do.
Learning about how our brains function allows us to learn about how we process information. Yet this still doesn't mean we have the words, or even the awareness, to express what is running through our minds. This is why I often incorporate the use of art with the knowledge of how the brain works, to unlock our subconscious when words escape us.
It takes a great deal of courage to reach out and bravery to address the things you want to change in your life. This doesn't mean you have to do it alone and I'd be honored to be by your side working with you.
