Welcome. I am a person centered, LGBTQ+ clinical mental health counselor and addictions specialist. I use an eclectic approach for a range of ages, developmental-transitional stages towards positive shifts in attitude, behavior, and mood a shift towards client wellbeing. I will work collaboratively with you, use arts therapy, area resources including outdoor settings and experiences, paired with DBT and trauma-informed care for harm reduction and to assist rebuilding trust in yourself first. And hopefully the goal is to construct resources and help identify self strategies for increased positive life experiences in your world.
My emphasis is on building trust and support, assisting in a person's post-trauma growth towards wellbeing in the present. I engage clients by adding to their natural strengths, identify resources in a rural area, and adding a treatment of self regulation routines through the use of mindfulness skills. I work on-call hours to meet clients schedules.
Perhaps a single incident or complex lived experiences has led you to seek a counselor. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for meetings, will work as your guide.
