Whether psychological assessment or psychotherapy, I truly enjoy and embrace diversity in my practice, with regard to clients and their clinical needs. In addition to psychotherapy services, I perform a myriad of psychological assessments including neurocognitive, psychoeducational, diagnostic clarification, parental fitness, disability assessments, etc. My work with the family court includes co-parenting sessions, reunification counseling, and individual psychotherapy as needed, in addition to expert testimony and other court services as needed.
Using a biopsychosocial approach to conceptualize cases, I help clients to realize the varying effects of experiences on their overall functioning. I do not shy away from the difficult conversations and topics, and will work with you to help overcome the barriers to achieving mental and emotional wellbeing.
My goal as a therapist is to create a calm, relaxed, open, and accepting environment. While I recognize that treatment can be difficult, I work diligently to ensure a comfortable atmosphere where one can relax to be able to embrace their true self.
