I provide treatment to individuals who suffer from depression, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, perfectionism, stress management, loss/grief, transitions between stages of life, and relational problems. I also have a specific interest in working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
I have expertise in a range of evidenced-based therapies. I utilize different modalities flexibly in order to create client-based, personalized treatment. I mainly practice from the perspectives of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Psychodynamic Therapy. I am also an EMDR therapist.
I strive to establish a collaborative relationship with my clients to promote healing and help them move towards a more meaningful and fulfilling life. I provide a nonjudgmental setting where my clients can express and explore their thoughts and feelings. I help my clients achieve a sense of freedom from distress, become more accepting of themselves.
