It is my belief that people need truth to be emotionally and spiritually healthy. But I believe that the truth needs to be compassionately delivered with a heart full of grace. My sincere hope is that encouragement is evident in my counsel, whether I am visiting with a troubled married couple or an 8 year-old child who has been the victim of abuse. The identified desire of the client is the target of the counseling sessions and my goal to help each individual, couple or family experience freedom.
I have over 30 years of clinical experience counseling adults, teens and children. I have worked in community agencies, churches, private practice and inpatient hospital settings. My experience also includes working as a contracted instructor at the collegiate level. I am have worked with school systems and court systems on family and children's issues.
