I take an individual approach to each client, tailoring my methods to a persons needs and issues. I use cognitive behavioral techniques to help my clients manage their issues (i.e. anxieties, relationships etc.) by changing counterproductive thought patterns. There are times in all of our lives when we could use some extra support. Feeling hurt, misunderstood, angry, and confused are things each of us may feel.I am available to meet with children, adolescents, and adults on an individual basis as well as family/couples counseling. I use various modalities of therapy depending on the person. It is all about you which is the reason each session focuses on your needs. Sometimes during therapy I will swtich from EMDR to talk therapy because it is something we have decided on together and what may make sense in that session.
I am very passionate about what I do and Icontinue to learn new techniques to better help my clients. My knowledge is not just from books and lectures but from personal experience.
