Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, or relationships? Are you having difficulties with marriage, parenting, divorce, or work? It can be hard to deal with these issues alone and therapy can help. Choosing a therapist is an important decision, and it should be someone with whom you feel comfortable. My experience includes a five-year clinical position at UCSD Outpatient Psychiatric Services followed by nineteen years in private practice. Therapy is a collaborative process in which we work together to identify problems and find solutions. Therapy can provide you with the skills you need to make changes in your life.
I have extensive training in the treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and addiction. I welcome adults of all ages who may be experiencing difficulty with life transitions. I also work with people dealing with illness and chronic pain. My goal is to provide a safe environment in which change can occur.
I would be happy to speak with you to determine whether I might be of help. I am a panel provider for a number of insurances and offer a sliding scale out-of-pocket fee for individuals who do not have insurance.
