My goal as a trauma-certified therapist is to empower my clients to experience increased freedom and healing in their lives. My training in the addiction field has prepared me to treat a variety of mental health disorders, including anxiety, anger, depression, grief, and trauma.
I find that utilizing an integrative approach (interpersonal therapy: problem solving, communication skill acquisition, and conflict resolution), together with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (identification and replacement of self-defeating thought patterns), often helps to reduce distressing emotional symptoms in my clients.
