After raising a family, I returned to school, and have now enjoyed over a decade working as a clinical social worker with adults both in hospital and community based settings. Often additional support is needed to find meaning and regain a sense of stability after loss, and life transitions. I pull from various theoretical perspectives and interventions based on what is appropriate for your needs.
My approach is holistic, compassionate, and trauma informed. I have training in CBT, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Grief. Sessions are your time, and are tailored around your needs. My goal is that you will always take away something of value from each session to help you move toward your goals.
