I understand that asking for emotional help is one of the more difficult things you might ever do. I tell my clients that if they were in physical discomfort or pain they would call their doctor for relief, and to call a professional counselor is also a way to insure their health and well-being. With their hard work and my guidance I assure my clients that they will be able to work through past or current issues and will not have to remain stuck, that they can change.
I enjoy working with individuals, couples, families, older teens, and mature adults. I use client centered therapy, stress management, relaxation, mindfulness exercises and psycho-education in my sessions, keeping in mind that it is the client in the end who chooses what works for them.
Confidentiality is assured in my single practice setting located on twelve wooded acres, My clients find this a safe, comfortable environment for sessions, and I meet with them in several relaxing locations. I have over 25 years of experience and 'wisdom' to offer and find that I easily connect with my cIients. I look forward to working with you.
