Hello, I'm Bailie Jones (they/she). I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Dallas, Texas, and work with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with teens and adults and specialize in trauma and LGBTQIA+ issues. My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with. I believe that therapy is a collaborative effort; you are the expert in your experiences and life, and I have the tools to help you develop healthy coping skills and process some of your life experiences you may struggle with.
I use an eclectic approach to my therapy that uses EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and REBT. I believe that my style and approach are a good fit for teens and young adults who may be dealing with social pressure, religious trauma, questioning their sexuality and/ or gender, or are looking for a safe space.
My communication style is calm, accommodating, and personable. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything, and I pride myself on my ability to listen without judgment.
