Life is an ever shifting journey that proves more challenging at certain times than others. The challenges that we face are unique to each of us. It is my belief and the reason this work continues to be my passion, that having safe, compassionate, skilled relationships are what heal us and support our agency (I can!). As a therapist, I strive to offer work that is reparative and restorative to my clients' nervous systems. When clients feel that they belong, have an increased sense of hope and understanding of self, and can take another step forward I believe that I have done a large part of my job.

I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, mood disorders, self esteem issues, relationship problems, and grief including "ambiguous loss" grief when, for example, a family member has a loved one coping with serious mental illness and resolution seems unattainable.
I understand life can throw curveballs, causing us to feel unbalanced and uncertain how to proceed. During these times, I can provide guidance and strategies to help you regain stability and hope. I do this using evidenced-based strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, IFS Parts Work, and mindfulness.

Our collective world & many folks’ lives have been increasingly full of change. Transition & change can create struggles as well as opportunities; we can navigate those together. I work with adults, and adolescents facing issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, identity exploration, life transitions, existential exploration & more while maintaining a strengths-based, neurodiverse-affirming & gender-affirming lens. Some clients enjoy using art; others seek more traditional therapeutic approaches. Regardless of technique, building a compassionate relationship that supports growth is illuminating.

I specialize in working with adults dealing with childhood trauma, relationship issues, low self-esteem, anxiety and depression.
Hi, I’m glad you’re here. I know reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to go through it alone. After spending 10 years at a dual diagnosis treatment facility, I decided to shift my focus to private practice so I could work more closely with people like you — those looking for a safe space to process life’s ups and downs, heal, and grow. Do you ever wonder why you reacted to a situation the way you did, or find yourself feeling an intense emotion and think that it doesn't fit the situation? If so, I'm here to help!

There are times when stress, worry or sadness fill too much of your life. Relationships may be disappointing or confusing. You may feel stuck, wishing you could feel and act differently in your life, but you feel held back. I see the therapeutic process as a relationship and place to safely practice how you would like to be and feel in the world. When we express ourselves to family or friends, they can often react personally or minimize our experience. The neutral, nonjudgmental environment of therapy allows space to fully explore our experiences without upsetting or worrying others.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
