Greetings and thank you for stopping by. I am currently accepting new clients and I am only doing telehealth session. What I value most is a deep knowledge of the self, and how to eradicate past core belief systems that no longer serve us as we evolve into our true nature. I specialize in attachment trauma, sex and porn addiction, and financial therapy (money, work and financial disorders). I provide in-person and virtual sessions in Arizona, and teletherapy for Colorado based clients. I work with couples and individuals to resolve their life issues for increased well-being and life fulfillment. I am faculty for Dr. Patrick Carnes, CSAT Supervisor/ therapist for IITAP, and integrate the PACT approach for couples.

My aim as a psychotherapist and counselor is to provide a secure and healthy environment where individuals can address life's obstacles that hinder their progress. It is common to face difficulties that we cannot overcome alone, which is why I believe that a collaborative therapeutic relationship is vital for personal growth and positive change. My goal is to create a safe space where clients can identify their values, enhance their present-moment awareness, and manage distressing thoughts and emotions more effectively.

Being able to seek out help is difficult and there are so many thoughts of “will this help?” which is completely valid. It is scary but seeking help can also be empowering and a sign of strength. I strongly believe in building from your strengths and resilient qualities. My priority is providing a safe space to feel heard, understood, and validated without judgment. The focus of our sessions will entail compassion, empathy, and reflection.

Whether you need to do some healing or just want some help sorting yourself out, we can do that together. Anything from the very small (counseling) to the very large (trauma-focused psychotherapy with internal family systems or IFS), or doing energetic and somatic work (trauma and tension release exercises or TRE), I offer to follow or guide you on whatever journey you need to take. Hello and welcome to my profile. Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing something broken with a lacquer of precious metals like gold or silver. I like to think of this beautiful restorative art as a metaphor for the work clients do when they come together to heal themselves and restore their relationships with one another. Returning to graduate school as an older adult, I find that my years of life experience have enhanced my studies and work as a therapist. I am currently an LAMFT at Tucson Lasting Connections, supervised by Stephanie Neidermyer, LMFT.

I am a Tucson native and have received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Arizona University. While I was pursuing my master’s degree I have worked with children through adults as well as families that are struggling and in need of support.

As we know, life does not always work the way we want it to work. Our well-meaning attempts to make life work, too often become patterns that keep us from fulfilling the life we were made to live. When we can’t change these patterns, we get stuck. When life isn’t working, we need help. And NO, It’s never too late to change. Therapy is a collaborative, interactive process between patient and therapist. During this process, the therapist can treat specific issues (e.g. anxiety, depression, adjustments, sexual integrity, trauma, etc.) or everyday concerns (e.g. relationships and family problems, career issues, etc.).

Times are increasingly charged, and I would love to be of support. My approach is respectful, creative, and evidence-based. I am beginning this independent practice after some 16 years in therapy delivery and instruction at The University of Arizona. Having passed about 80,000 hours of therapy delivery, you will see that my enthusiasm and compassion are poised to help you.
