I began as a teacher and since 2018 have worked as a therapist. My clientele have come from diverse backgrounds. I've worked with my clients at resolving symptoms of depression and/or anxiety. Often these symptoms have resulted from trauma. I believe that there are unique and important aspects to every person and that this requires a tailored approach for treatment. I particularly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults. My areas of clinical interest include parenting, trauma resolution, and the development of positive coping skills.

My practice focus is client's anxieties, depression, relationship issues, and post traumatic stress. I treat women exclusively and am passionate about increasing their confidence and strengths. Dan holds a Masters in Community Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor. Rooted in compassion, individualized treatment, and spiritual growth, Dan has focused on supporting individuals and families as they journey through substance abuse recovery; coping with mental illness and reintegration; trauma healing; crisis resolution; family and couples therapy; explorations of spirituality, self-esteem, and sexuality; fatherhood and parenting; process addiction; anger management, and more.

I am an experienced licensed therapist that works with clients from ages 7 and up. I have extensive experience in working with adolescents, adults, and families with assisting clients in relieving symptoms caused by mental health issues and stress. The core of the work done here is allowing you to access in real time, instinctual solutions for what ails you. This is done by employing specific activities that all but require the client to become present with their emotional reality. The horse only responds favorably to self-awareness and honesty. When this is achieved, the honesty, vulnerability, and awareness are reinforced via undoubted connection with the horse. Often, this leads to feelings of contentment, confidence, and awareness. These are then applied to both intra and inter-personal relationships when not with the horse.
