For couples therapy, I utilize an advanced couples therapy approach called EFT (Emotion Focused Therapy) which significantly helps the couple to increase and/or establish a securely attached relationship bond.

Stacey is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) with training by Dr. Patrick Carnes, Dr. Stefanie Carnes and Dr. Ken Adams, Dr. Claudia Black and Pia Mellody. Ms. Baughman has worked for the past seven years as the sex addition therapist at The Meadows, a world-renown inpatient treatment facility, assisting clients to discuss their trauma and addiction (process and substance) issues. Typically addicts will use sex as a way to belong, gain acceptance, approval from others, avoid stress, anxiety, and depression. Addiction also serves as a coping mechanism to medicate old wounds, emotions, and distorts reality.

**ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS** Welcome! I am a Licensed Psychologist who earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2014. I have over 15 years experience working in an array of settings, including community mental health, school settings, group homes, residential treatment, outpatient settings, correctional facilities, and private practice. I work with children, adolescents and adults providing individual, group, family and couple’s therapy, as well as psychological assessments. I have experience working with a variety of clientele.

I provide individual counseling services for those affected by gambling addiction. I focus on assisting the gambler to decrease or eliminate gambling activities. I have developed multiple interventions over the past 15 years counseling gamblers. Many of those services can be covered by the Arizona Department of Gaming Office of Problem Gambling, Treatment Assistance Program if certain criteria is met. Additionally, provide counseling for Veterans and narcissistic abuse recovery. Most major insurance is accepted.
