Here at The Psychology Lab we have a team of amazing therapists to help your needs. We provide individual, couples, family, children, or group sessions. Hey! I practice a person-centered approach. I offer a safe place for you to process your feelings and come up with your own solutions with a little guidance. Though I enjoy helping people of all ethnicities and from all different religious + cultural backgrounds. My focus is on children, tweens, teens and young adults who reside in "Non Traditional" homes. I am culturally & religious aware, LGBTQ+ and justice impacted sensitive with a strong understanding of what it takes to serve those who may feel that others have given upon them. In addition to those who reside in a single parent home, divorced, separated or blended family homes.

My approach is mainly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy mixed with Client Centered Therapy. I develop and individualized program for each client that provides support and stepping stones in achieving a better quality of life. Therapy is provided in a relaxed environment that enables the client to bring forth a variety of issues without fear of being judged. I accept and work with clients right where their at.

I believe that each individual is unique and thus the approach to therapy should be tailored to each person's needs. Regardless of what approach may be helpful in treating the specific challenge, I think the key to success is having a strong therapeutic relationship. I focus on providing empathetic, compassionate, and knowledgeable interventions.

Debra Konecni is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with clients who have experienced a traumatic event — especially anyone who has experienced any type of child abuse or sexual abuse.

Dr. Karen Ferguson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in both Arizona and California with over 35 years of experience. She has worked with individuals of all ages and families who are coping with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, parenting, low self-esteem, attachment issues, relationship issues, bipolar disorder, and abuse. She has significant experience working with those who have suffered child abuse and those who have lived through foster care. I offer counseling and talk therapy services; however, I do not currently offer psychological testing.

Brianne believes that each of her clients are an expert and the ultimate healer of what troubles them. Often the inability to identify or communicate their troubles is the real issues that prevents them from feeling better. That is where her specialties can bridge the gap.

I have been a psychologist for 33-years, predominately in private practice settings. The focus of your initial visit will be to meet you and obtain an understanding of what you hope to accomplish during our time together. I believe strongly in the importance of establishing a respectful, trusting therapeutic relationship in order to facilitate your progress toward meeting your therapeutic goals. My approach to psychotherapy is goal-oriented, as the therapeutic process is collaborative rather than one-sided. My office is located in a newer section of North Peoria, on the dividing line of Sun City and Peoria.

Clients come in for issues such as PTSD, depression and anxiety. I love to help children process their feelings and become more aware. I love to help adults with a variety of issues; including managing ADHD and ASD. I work with clients who have complex trauma, borderline diagnosis, and single parent issues. I am also intricately aware of spiritual abuse dynamics. I will help you set goals and achieve them for yourself and family.
