When life throws “one-thing-after-another” at you the struggle wears on us. Our relationships suffer, conflicts can occur, communication may shut down, and we become more isolated and feel alone. When this happens, you become overwhelmed, anxious, depressed and mentally-emotionally paralyzed at times. The constant stress makes it hard to stay motivated and focus on what’s important. You question all your decisions, big and small, and even simple things in life feel hard. You feel numb and stuck, blocked by feelings of helplessness and hopelessness, when all you really want is to enjoy life, get balanced again and be at peace.

I provide individual counseling services for those affected by gambling addiction. I focus on assisting the gambler to decrease or eliminate gambling activities. I have developed multiple interventions over the past 15 years counseling gamblers. Many of those services can be covered by the Arizona Department of Gaming Office of Problem Gambling, Treatment Assistance Program if certain criteria is met. Additionally, provide counseling for Veterans and narcissistic abuse recovery. Most major insurance is accepted.

My practice is client-driven, meaning that each session is focused only on the client's needs and goals - not on my personal agenda. I want each client to feel as though they are making measurable progress, so all of my clients are involved in creating their own treatment plan. My approach is straight-forward, compassionate, and non-judgmental. My number one desire is to work with each client to achieve peace, happiness, and hope.

I am a licensed therapist with over 35 years providing therapy in a variety of settings. My practice is presently limited to meeting with adult females. Everyone struggles at one time or another with life challenges and changes. My belief is that each person has strengths and qualities that enable them to cope with difficult situations. My focus is aimed at helping build on those strengths, identify solutions and encourage clients to make changes with the goal of a healthy and contented life.
