Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, a challenging relationship, or unresolved trauma that affects your ability to live a flourishing life? Do you long to find a nonjudgmental therapist who can understand your overwhelm and frustration from a trauma-informed lens to support your own discovery in the process? Today more than ever teens and adults are feeling uncertain about how to create the life they desperately need.

The therapeutic relationship is one of the primary vehicles of change, and I strive to provide unconditional positive regard and an empathic ear for any and all thoughts and feelings.
Do you find yourself wondering if there has to be more to life than 'this,' whatever 'this' may be? Perhaps you find yourself plagued by thoughts, feelings, and images popping up at highly inopportune times (like bedtime or after social events). Our bodies can only handle so much stress before they start throwing out warning signs, most of which we've become quite adept at ignoring. Whether you are aware of the 'why' or source of these feelings or not, we don't have to live this way. We cannot escape the ups and downs of life, but we can learn to navigate those peaks and valleys without the constant worry of 'Am I doing life right?'

I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families as they navigate through various mental health presentations. I have been certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Clients are assessed, and with them, a unique, meaningful, and strength-based treatment plan is developed. Meeting clients where they are is the number one priority, and through the use of various therapeutic strategies and a healthy and positive therapeutic relationship, clients are encouraged to identify and work through that which prevents them from living an authentic, rewarding, and fulfilling life.

I am passionate about working with couples, families, and adult individuals.
In my work, I see conflict and communication as the driving force for needing support. I believe that every conflict offers an opportunity to be deeply seen and understood by our partner, friends, or family. In my practice, I lead with the Gottman method for couples, which integrates research-based interventions to help those that are experiencing issues such as lack of intimacy, sex, commitment issues, infidelity, betrayal, lack of friendship, loss of trust, money issues, communication issues, parenting, etc. This approach is equally applicable to working with families and individuals as well.

I am open to working with adults, children (4+), and couples with a variety of presenting concerns.
With each interaction I find that striking a balance between a safe therapeutic space and appropriate challenges leads to the most holistic healing and deeper insights. I believe in a top-down and bottom-up approach when it comes to therapy. I hope to encourage a client to take responsibility over their own life while recognizing and validating the larger systems and realities that impact them. The ultimate goal is to translate growth within the therapy room to a client’s actual day-to-day life. Overall, I hope to empower clients to uncover new healthier ways of being for themselves.

I consider it a privilege to come alongside clients, offering a safe and non-judgmental space to help couples, families and individuals to get unstuck, and repair.
Accepting Couples, Co-parents and Families. Life can feel messy some days! We all go through challenging seasons of life. Our most important relationships can suffer leaving us feeling alone, hurt, betrayed and just plain stuck! We were designed for connection and without it we struggle! We have a deep down desire to be seen, heard and known. When we can't find connection in our most important relationships we may rely on strategies that serve us for a season but are not sustainable for our healing and growth.

I have 5+ years of experience working with teens, couples, and individuals of all ages and demographics.
I believe that everyone deserves the chance to build a life that they look forward to living, and I am passionate about working with clients to gain the tools they need to achieve this. Life is too precious to allow for painful past experiences and traumas to control you, troubling interpersonal challenges to hinder you, or to experience anxiety, anger and sadness more often than true happiness. Making the decision to seek out therapy can be difficult as is, so my goal as your therapist is to meet you where you are at and help you determine what your specific goals are and how we can achieve them.

More than anything else, I value the relationship that my client and I forge together through our work.
I specialize in adult psychotherapy practice, specifically with major life and identity transitions no matter what age, stage or role you currently occupy. Whether you're a young adult facing the terror of leaving the safety and comfort of home for the first time or if you're someone who is transitioning from working full time to retiring and relaxing full time, I believe that our work together can assist in getting you to where you want to be. I treat the entirety of the person, not just your psyche.
