I am a Board Certified Supervisor, EMDR trained licensed professional counselor who specializes in trauma related issues. Along with being a therapist I am also a brain health coach with Dr. Amen clinics. My assessments are included in the therapeutic process. I work primarily with women's issues surrounding abuse and trauma by infidelity and partner sex addiction. I also collaborate couple's intensive sessions when needed. Healing is possible and I provide a non-judgmental, supportive therapeutic environment.

Relationships are complicated, especially the relationships that are most important to us. Many of us feel the need for connection, security, and love. However, sometimes we end up hurt and alone. Relational pain can show up as anxiety, fear, depression, or grief, among other things. I firmly believe validation, empathy, and humor are the most powerful tools for helping clients experience lasting change. My most significant reward as a professional helper is watching my clients go from despair to possibility.

My passion involves working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, conflict resolution, adjusting to life transitions, and interpersonal issues. Life is complex, just as people are! I have extensive experience working with the adolescent & adult population and have specified training in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy).

I have a deep compassion for the underserved and communities of color, and LGBTQI+ communities. I am trained in EMDR trauma therapy and work deeply with Attachment Theory and trauma-focused healing. As a former school counselor, I greatly understand systemic barriers, the impact of childhood experiences, and foundational issues that can impact one's life.

Aleesha is a neuro affirming therapist who works with children between 3-13 years of age. Aleesha works to create a therapeutic environment that is inclusive and supports individuals in understanding and embracing their identities while also addressing difficulities and challenges that may arise. Aleesha tailors the interventions and strategies used throughout her sessions to meet the specific needs and strenghts of your child.
