Above all therapy is about the trusting relationship between client and therapist. I am licensed clinical social worker and specialize in providing therapy for adults 18 and older who experience anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

Maybe growing up in an immigrant family or being an immigrant yourself, you were pushed to be better, do better, or do more while feeling the weight of your family, culture and society. Sometimes those expectations could even feel conflicting. Despite life lessons and resiliency that shaped your life, you may feel like something is still missing or some of those thoughts continue bothering you.

Whether it be day to day stressors, or extreme scenarios that took you by surprise I am here to assist you in navigating the lasting impacts of the trauma, anxiety, and/or depression that came with the scenario. With several years of diverse practice within both an inpatient psychiatric hospital and in outpatient general mental health settings, I have vast experience in the treatment of both severe mental illness and general mental health issues. Utilizing an approach that is individualized to each of my client’s needs I hope to formulate the same perfect treatment plan for you as you face your own unique situation.

I take a holistic approach to therapy and address client's concerns from the perspective of their mind, body, and spirit. My role is one of a guide along the journey to wholeness. I offer illumination of integral pieces along your path and help you to integrate these pieces to become a happier, healthier, more authentic you! I truly believe that each individual can heal from emotional pain and trauma. I am competent in a variety of theoretical approaches including: Psychodynamic, Transpersonal, Client centered, Humanisti and CBT. I have extensive experience working in domestic violence and teaching anger management.

I have over 10 years of experience working with clients with a variety of presenting issues including: anxiety, depression, trauma history, family conflict, parenting concerns, and other various emotional and behavioral challenges. I have also have experience working with Caucasian, Hispanic, and Native American populations .
