My specialty is in working with self-esteem issues, life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, and spiritual crisis (spiritual awakening, shadow work, “dark night of the soul”). I operate from a humanistic theoretical framework; which just means, that I focus on the Individual as a whole and focus on existing positive strengths and behaviors. I meet you where you are at and welcome you without judgment. I believe strongly in the therapeutic relationship and I make sure to co-create with you a healing space where you can feel safe to be you.

I use EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, alongside existential philosophy and modern psychology to treat trauma-related issues including physical, emotional and sexual abuse; traumatic life events, and chronic trauma related to neglect, perfectionism, existential meaninglessness, hopelessness, sexuality - dating and loss, and self worth issues.
Finding a good therapist is really hard. And even if you find a good one there still might be personality issues or incompatibilities. To be honest, there's not a lot that can be done about this, compatibility issues are real and finding something that works is hard. What I can tell you is that I am a good therapist, I strike a balance between active listening, and giving coaching and clarification of issues when you're stuck spinning in your own head. I practice a non-judgmental approach which means I can call you out without introducing shame or guilt.

I have experience treating trauma, dissociation, anxiety/depression, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, attachment concerns, grief, and first responders' needs.
Welcome! I believe we all have the capacity for healthy growth toward being our best selves, however we define that to be. Sometimes old patterns, trauma, difficult relationships, or unexpected life changes make that process difficult and can obstruct the path forward. My goal as your therapist is to help you decide what change looks like for you and to walk that path with you.

We are wired for connection, and with the potential to grow and live amazing, full lives. However, sometimes we have major obstacles to that growth and connection, whether those obstacles are from the past, or are showing up in the present. But how do we change? Change is one of the most wanted and feared aspects of the human experience. Our most transformative changes come when we are willing to intentionally stretch beyond our comfort zones. This is where therapy can help. I am a therapist practicing evidenced-based, effective therapies that include EMDR, EFT, and CBT.

You’re feeling weighed down by the past and the future is daunting. You feel anxious, depressed, alone, and scared. Your emotions can feel overwhelming at times yet shut off and numb at other times. Your relationships are being impacted and you even feel disconnected from yourself. You want to move forward… but you just keep getting stuck. If you’re ready to make a change and get unstuck, therapy is an effective resource that will help you heal from the past, feel comfortable in your own skin, create connected and meaningful relationships, and instill hope, purpose, and passion for your future.

Welcome! Thank you for considering my services. The most important piece of successful therapy is the relationship between you and your therapist. I believe if you are on this page, there is already a bit of a connection. Let's explore it further. Perhaps you are repeating unhealthy patterns in your life, maybe you have been stuck and are now ready to move forward, or perhaps you want to improve what is already good in your life. I would be honored to join and guide you on your journey.
