Hello, my name is Rebecca Hampton. I am a Licensed Social Worker and Certified Trauma Profession. I am passionate about helping my adolescent and adult clients develop the skills they need to thrive. The majority of my practice focuses on supporting my clients in regulating their nervous systems, developing strong boundary skills, challenging old belief systems and behaviors, and perfecting the tools they need to move forward. Andee Bufkin is a master's level Professional Counselor licensed with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health. Andee has over a decade of experience in the counseling field working with individual adults, adolescents, and families. Andee's goal is to provide you with goal-oriented, confidential therapy in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Her specialties include dealing with anxiety related issues, depression, mood disorders, ADHD symptoms, communication skills, as well as child/adolescent behavioral disorders. Andee is also trained in EMDR techniques to assist clients who are struggling with Post traumatic stress disorder.

My approach to counseling is straightforward, realistic, and supportive, with a touch of humor, in a nonjudgmental environment. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) to address underlying trauma and triggers that prevent a person from reaching their potential.

My ideal client is someone struggling with relationship issues, whether it’s a teenager, middle school person, or adult. Some examples are parents are going through a divorce, a teenager needing help with school or family interpersonal issues, family or friend relationship problems, and general anxiety or depression.

I am a doctoral level trained clinical psychologist with a PsyD in counseling and am an LAC. I have extensive experience working with diverse adolescent and adult populations. I have training and expertise in EMDR, CBT, and DBT. I have worked in community mental health, inpatient, adolescent forensic, and private practice settings and have extensive training in diagnostic and clinical assessments. My education, training, and clinical practices have highlighted multicultural and diversity issues, and I continue to practice in consideration of cultural issues/needs when evaluating, assessing, and providing services to clients.

In addition to my area of specialization, I also enjoy working with couples and family systems (adult & adolescent) that desire a spiritual focus in their relational growth but find themselves stuck in communication, connection and/or commitment.

Additionally, I have worked in the education field for over 20 years. My expertise includes working in the areas of Christian counseling, trauma work, experiential therapy, mental health, relationships, family, and addiction. I also have a passion for working with adolescents and young adults. I spent time at the junior high and high school level teaching English, working as a guidance counselor, and as a social worker.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I have offices in Peoria, Avondale, and Scottsdale Arizona. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma. I have 18 years of experience in the social service field and have been a Clinical Director for several programs in the valley, but enjoy providing therapy to individuals and families the most. I work with children, adolescents, and adults providing individual, couples, and family therapy.
