I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a private practice located off the 101 and Shea Blvd. I belong to the American Counseling Association (ACA), American Christian Counseling Association (AACC) and a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). I served on the Board of the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (2013-2019), and as Chairman from (2014-2016, 2017-2018). I was also on the Behavioral Health Rules Subcommittee, Personnel Subcommittee and Counseling Credentialing Committees. I currently volunteer at Scottsdale Bible Church and am an Adjunct Professor at Phoenix Seminary teaching Ethics.

I am certified in EMDR, Brainspotting and Clinical Hypnotherapy, powerful mind-body therapies which facilitate healing at a deep/core level (not just symptom management). I integrate these modalities with talk therapies, however, results typically occur in much less time than traditional talk therapy alone.

I have been working in the mental health field for the past 20+ years after graduating with my Masters degree from New York University in 2004. I completed a 4 year post graduate program at the "Ackerman Institute for the Family", specializing my work in couples and family work.
