I served as clinical director for a behavioral health program in a state-wide agency for 19 years, was adjunct faculty/family therapy supervisor at the University of Arizona in the psychology department for 11 years, and a family therapy seminar lecturer in the department of psychiatry for seven years. I have presented at local, state,and national conferences as well as consulted and trained for multiple private and state agencies. I specialize in child and family therapy as well as adult and marital/couples issues.

Trauma can make you feel alone and misunderstood. You might feel like there is no one you can talk to because you don't want to cause them pain. You try to smile and carry on but this too has stopped working. Maybe you are angry, maybe you are afraid. I get that. Maybe you just want it all to stop and go back to the way it used to be. I get that too. Trauma can be a big event or reoccurring smaller events (micro-traumas). Even relationships can feel traumatic.

I primarily work with narcissistic abuse survivors as well as empaths and HSP's (which are typically targeted by narcs). I also work with couples who feel they are in toxic dynamics and feel stuck. This life is hard but having someone who you can talk to is so helpful and I communicate with my clients, not stare at you and expect you to do all talking! I promise you that even when it feels like you just can't do it anymore.. you really can! I personally have experienced much of life's hardships but I'm grateful for that because it gave me the opportunity to help so many others!
