I am Founder and CEO of The Family Prosperity Institute. My practice is biblically based and Scripture provides the foundation for the way I conceptualize my work. My passion is to help others overcome challenges. All too often people struggle alone with anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, faith crisis, and self-acceptance. For over ten years I have worked in higher education helping teens, young adults, and adults. During that time I provided academic advisement, social services, disability resources and services, and assisted high school students with early college success. I take a holistic approach to therapy by helping clients improve each aspect of their life while also working on the reason they come to therapy.

I apply a holistic approach as a pathway to increase your optimal wellbeing. This holistic approach, combined with your personal goals, creates an experience that is personal and unique to you. As your therapist, I will design a session tailored to your needs. I use Somatic Experiencing along with other forms of wellness specialties in working with those who are struggling with work/life balance, PTSD, anxiety, stress, marginalization, systems of oppression, ancestral trauma/intergenerational trauma, self-esteem, and life transitions.

I offer a gentle approach to building a therapeutic relationship through compassion, patience, and a comfortable, non-judgmental space. I guide my clients toward understanding anxiety, depression, and trauma symptoms and navigating through life transitions and trauma processing/healing. I use my experience and trauma-informed techniques, including EMDR to gather an understanding of each client's unique history and therapy goals.
