As a psychotherapist at Family Strategies, my practice is anchored in the science of counseling, with a deep focus on trauma recovery in many areas such as: PTSD, sexual abuse, religious trauma, OCD, ADHD, relational psychological abuse and anxiety and depression. Some of the modalities in which I am trained also integrate neuroscience such as Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing and Accelerated Resolution Therapy. After any traumatic event changes in the brain can occur sending us into a perpetual fight or flight mode. To heal we must involve modalities that rewire the brain.
