I believe that art is a universal language and very helpful with both children and adults when they are struggling to find their words.
I believe increasing self-awareness and confidence to step outside of one’s comfort zone is a very important process to setting the foundation for a successful therapeutic environment.

Children and families are often in need of healing. This belief led me to earn my Master’s degree in Marriage, Family and Child therapy. What I have been most inspired by after 16 years of working in this field has been the capacity for inner resilience that people have shown in the face of emotional pain, adversity, and trauma. Although other traditional modalities may be incorporated (ex, CBT), I predominately use a creative, play-based approach. This includes therapy interventions such as art, games, and sand tray interventions. Together, we’ll journey toward living brighter, happier lives.

I have been working with children, teens and adults with a variety of issues for over 25 years.
Making changes can be very difficult. I believe that therapy is about finding the inner strengths inside of yourself that can allow you to become the person you want to be. Whether you are healing from wounds from your past or looking to write a new future, change is possible. No two people go through this process in the same way, everyone's journey is very unique.

I work with " children" of all ages to find blocks that keep them from seeing themselves whole and perfect.
As a mother of 5 children with a Master's degree in Child & Adolescent Developmental Psychology and a Ph.D. in Metaphysics & Transpersonal Counseling, my approach is very holistic. My eclectic approach utilizes the hands-on experience of having had a child with autism (who is now 23 and autistic free!). Behavior is a language - what is it "saying?" is my approach. With this approach, we can help the child and family to heal and deal with the issues differently. My intention is to provide a safe space for healing to begin.
