Welcome to Pinnacle Psychology: The Pinnacle of Mental Health Services in The East Valley! I specialize in individual therapy for adolescents and adults. ARISE is a non-profit office that strives to provide counseling services to individuals, families/couples, veterans, first responders and Native Americans. We offer counseling services ages 5+. Additionally, an Intensive Outpatient Program is available for 18+. Our providers use a variety of theoretical perspectives and modalities. The patients’ situation, needs, culture, and spiritual prospective are taken into consideration. ARISE team consist of Psychiatrists, Licensed Professional and Associate Counselors, Licensed Social Workers, Nurse Practitioners, BHTs, Veteran Peer Support, and Case Managers.

I am a licensed psychotherpist in AZ and nationally certified. I am trained in various techniques that help with the resolution of trauma, abuse, neglect, addiction, and personality corrections. In addition, I can provide testing for behavioral, emotional, personality, and psychological concerns. As the clinical director, I coordinate and oversee our groups and IOP (intensive outpatient) programs. My team includes Spanish speaking services and the ability to work with those who have other concerns such as anxiey, bipolar, depression, ADHD, and emotional dysregulation as part of individual, group, IOP counseling.

Developmental & Educational Psychological Services provides high quality comprehensive assessments to identify numerous psychological and developmental conditions. I have been a behavioral health counselor for over 20 years. My start in this profession came from my career as an educator in middle and high schools. The need for therapeutic counseling was great and I extended my education to earn an MA in Educational Counseling and then completed supervised therapy to get my Licensed Professional Counselor license. My experience is therapy and in raising our family, is that individuals generally know what they need to do to make significant behavior changes.

Valori grew up as an Air Force Brat and was fortunate enough to live in Europe for ten years. At an early age she was able to learn how to identify with people from different parts of the world in order to adapt and make friends. She was also a scholar athlete and was able to fulfill the demands and endure the pressure of performance. She began her career as a child development specialist working with children with developmental delays and caregivers with mental health diagnoses. After almost 15 years in the field she has worked with all ages and all levels of functioning.

We live in "interesting times," and my clients are looking for help as they navigate the ups-and-downs and unpredictability of life. Relationships, career paths, sexuality, family issues, work issues, change on all fronts, trauma and loss are some of the things that clients bring to talk about in their work with me. Before then, I received a master’s degree from Troy University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Paris VII. I am a licensed professional Counselor (LPC) in the states of Arizona, and South Carolina. I am also an independent licensed addiction counselor (LAC) in the State of South Carolina. I have been licensed for over 15 years and have worked with many people and populations to feel better and live their best life! We face so many complex issues throughout the many stages of our lives.
