I am currently an intern student completing my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University. I implement a variety of evidence-based modalities when working with clients. I appreciate how Emotionally Focused Therapy focuses on how our early experiences inform how we engage in adult relationships (our attachment styles) and how to change the negative interactional cycle that we often find ourselves in.

Dr. Susan Patrick earned her MA from CIIS, her Psy.D from UNC. She runs MBSR classes for couples, meditation and Realization Process classes. Dr. P enjoys working with individuals experiencing emotional blocks, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, that impede their personal and spiritual growth. Many of us "leave" our body to some degree when we experience stress or trauma.
