| español I am Myriam Zelada, director of the AZ Counseling Mental Clinic. All our psychotherapist are fully bilingual (English and Spanish). I am a licensed clinical social worker in CT/FL and have a Psychologist License outside the US. In AZ, we specialize in the evaluation and treatment of adolescents, adults, and families. We are experts in managing change, working with blended families, family reunification. We are here to help when your level of distress makes it difficult for you to perform in your work, school, social life, family, etc.
We offer assessments and testing (cognitive/intelligence, projective personality, etc.), psychotherapy, and/or skill development programs. Based on comprehensive assessments, we help clients establish realistic therapeutic goals. Our approach is to adjust the therapeutic model to the needs of the client.
As a director of AZ, my therapeutic style is humanistic and practical at the same time; It is based on curative interventions and the development of skills to deal with current problems. I have over 15 years of combined experience in the fields of Psychology, Clinical Social Work, and Change Management Counseling.
