My name is Ayesha Wallace and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Los Angeles, CA and working with clients via telehealth. I work with young adults (18+) and adults and treat anxiety, stress, and depression. My approach to therapy is individualized based on the client’s needs. I utilize T.E.A.M. CBT which stands for Testing, Empathy, Agenda-Setting, and Methods. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy allows us to work together to find the various methods to help clients make progress and start feeling better quicker.
My style is compassionate, calm, and personable. I want my clients to feel comfortable while talking with me and feel heard and understood in session. My approach to goal setting is working collaboratively with the client to determine what you would like to accomplish and how you would like to feel once therapy has ended.
Our first session will consist of me getting to know you and learning what has brought you to therapy, and me asking more questions to understand you better.
